I like gtk-gnutella. There probably are better ones, but hey, it works. :)
I should probably get a better one, huh?
EDIT: I can't believe I forgot to mention this, but ( ) is NOT, I repeat NOT, a good music downloading app.
Lite is a fine program. The problem is that it is very hard to find any good files on it; most are 128kbit/sec rips. :disgust:

Wine + ________.

Good luck getting it working.

apearnatly it is anything but unfeasible.

Getting Wine to work initially however is another story

Last I checked, winmx altogether does not work on wine (funky text display issue – it runs, you just can't read any of the text in the listboxes. You can even download files, but you only find out what they are after they download :P ). always bombed out on me no matter what I tried. Either way it's always a PITA.

Getting to work using wine is akin to shooting yourself in the head :P , but normally it should work after you've installed internet explorer and dcom98. Its still tough though, especially considering that there are native P2P apps that are already available.

Re:my gosh just tell him. YOu everyone in here has downloaded something from or even mirc. Dontt be all good and crap and kazza is ok i think IMO and others. I know the server dotn allow warez crap but we know the admins got the programs also, how would ppl have the 234 mp3 list.
Slow down.. I can barely make out half of this paragraph :)

mirc networks
mirc is just a program, you mean "irc networks".
