If it's a real virus how come I can't find ANY information on it?There are about 250,000 viruses and that number is growing fast. Check this page out: http://www.kaspersky.com/viruswatchlite They've got plenty of work to do just making signatures for them, let alone detailed descriptions
Re:There's certainly quite a few web references to the "Genlot" family of backdoor/trojans:

Re:First, go ahead and delete the file. RM offered some good advice on the system restore. Now you can go to http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner for a second opinion.
Re:The standard way of removing stuff like this is to delete your System Restore Cache, which is what has been infected:
1) Close all open programs. Then right-click My Computer on the Windows
desktop
2) Click on Properties
3) Click on the System Restore tab
4) Check Turn off System Restore on all drives
5) Restart the system
6) Go through the first four steps again and uncheck the item mentioned in
step 4.
Be aware that if the original cause of the infection hasn't been disabled, you can end up with a newly-infected System Restore Cache the next time you reboot. Also, when you disable System Restore, you will lose any Restore CheckPoints that have been created for your computer. This means you'll lose the ability to set your Registry back to a previous date, before you installed any malware. Next time you reboot, after you turn System Restore back on, you'll begin creating new Restore CheckPoints.
