Ugh . Groups and OUs [windows advanced server] [ms windows]

Q: Hi,

Im setting up MS Windows Advanced Server where I work . In fact, my boss pays me to learn how to install, which is pretty cool.

Im setting up groups (and try to .) and was wondering if I need organizational units as well? We have a small network, with little personal. We have sales, accounting and technical people. So I guess I to 3 groups, one for each, then create user accounts in each group . But what about the organizational units? Do I need them .

Whenever I. MP3s, they are stored as storage. Mpga “! Why?

Re:Does the .mpga file have a real audio icon? If so, rename all the files to mp3 and choose another program to associate with mp3's.

Q: Its the little things that bug you .

I use a crossover cable to connect my laptop to my desktop, and I do not need windows to tell me that the cable is not connected when I remove the laptop. Is there a reg hack to turn this off? Connection properties let me choose whether I an icon for the connection to get, but that only affects whether I change the appearance when the cable is connected to gain – if the socket, I get the “red X” icon, regardless of this setting .

Need help with installing Tablet PC 2005 [windows xp pro sp2] [original cd]

Q: I had to wipe out the Tablet and the restart after a crash in the hardware. I have this disc to install what appears to be Windows XP Pro SP2 and the second disk I have is the drive components for Tablet PC.
I lost the original CDs and so had a copy of the OS from a friend. I installed the first disc (which tells me the system properties to XP Pro SP2). I now have the Tablet of the system to make functional again as a tablet to install.

System and network very slow after the last live update (XP PRO) [win98se] [speed test]

Q: Well, it was all fine here with different systems and switches and a router. Comcast speed very good . 4MB down 384k and the two or three weeks ago UP.

About we have a live update both systems XP had been very slow ever since. Aps take longer to arrive and velocities (speed test) decreased to 2 K! Upload! I have a system that seems not to work and still fine with an older Win98SE system still appears quickly uploads.
