Damn spyware nightmares – Please Help [nightmares] [internet explorer]
Q: My father calls, because he had somehow blew my mothers computer and I need to correct the problem before returning home. (She is here visiting my sister and me.) Well, to solve the problem I VNCing, but I can not seem to find what over.
Basically hijacks the Internet Explorer and redirects to some home. Even if I put back the homepage to google.com, it automatically returns to this home. Once the pages load the site to browse, but there are a number of things. I browse to google.com and perform a search. The results were all advertising and not the actual results returned by Google and verified using Firefox to run run Spybot S search.
I u0026amp, D and Adaware 6 with no luck. Are there any ideas?

Re:I think it's probably CWS (CoolWebSearch). You're gonna need CWShredder.. and some other things found on the link above. Schedosser or whatever his name is should get so many :beer: for helping us all out.
Keep the system clean afterward by installing Spyware Blaster. OMG i just found out about it, it's great.

The link no longer works since I got rid of whatever it was pointing to, but it keeps updating IE's homepage to that link.
