Does anyone know a free or cheap DVD software? [windvd] [trial version]
Q: I just built a new system, and I got the NVidia MX trial version of WinDVD and PowerDVD? I noticed that they either like $ 40 or $ 50 for the full wild version.
Anybody know any free or cheaper DVD software?

Re:Oh and guy, dvdplay is just a dvd player nothing else much. You get the basic functions but WinDVD and PowerDVD offer many more options. But, you have to pay for those.

Hmmm, I'm not sure about that since I've only used it when WinDVD or PowerDVD was installed. If that is the case, just download the demo version of WinDVD and just use dvdplay.exe to watch your movies. You shouldn't have a time restriction (demo version of WinDVD) since you are using another program (dvdplay.exe) to actually watch the movie.

Anyway, the 2-channel version of WinDVD is cheaper, perhaps you may want to consider it unless you have a 5.1 speaker set?
