A number of gaming sites out there carrying word of an alleged Half-Life 2 delay according to some people at Vivendi Universal, the title of the publication of retail for Valve Software . Yet word doesnt seem to have declined traveled to Valve in an e-mail drawn from the Steam forums. (We can directly confirm or deny havent yet with everyone at Valve), who may know a thing or two about. Timm of Shacknews fame observations already pointed out this reaction Gabe Newell:

So there you go, do not panic if only Valve Software decided when the ship is not Vivendi. Valve says there is no delay (that they are aware of, and well . if anyone is aware of a slowdown would Valve), there is no delay. Things are still on schedule 9.30 to / Valve, unless otherwise said. This is of course assuming that the e-mail is legit. The bit about something like this down, Vivendi is a bit far-fetched to get Valves situation, so what the hell. We have word for you as soon as we hear from Valve.
