Best Answer: Ok, that's a lot of questions. A great anti virus software that is free is called Zone Alarm.
1) This is iffy, a lot of ani virus programs will fight with one another, I recommend just installing one.

4) It depends on the email program that you are using. Are you using a program like Outlook? That requires a plug in to do so…. If you are using Yahoo or hotmail, it's internet based. In both cases, it will scan for viruses. Most online internet programs already have a built in virus scanner.

Re:antivir won't slow down your compiter. It doesn't hog a lot of memory. That is why I pick antivir over other free anti-virus programs.
