Q: im looking at setting up a partially wireless network for my mother to church, mostly pieces but there is an Apple machine that they need on the network (they have OSX)

does someone other than Apple to make good work with a Mac? I think USB is the only option, since it is an old iMac w / 400MHz G3 processor

help? Ideas? theyre not sure that theyre going to do, but need some ideas for prizes and an idea of what theyre watching and this is the only Chapter I dont get some experience with

Best Answer: I use a Netgear WG 121.

It is old but very reliable.

Re:DWL-122 by D-link. I love it on WindowsXP and it works on Mac. D-link even has an install program with drivers on the CD. :) Should run you ~ $30.

Re:It depends. You should check to see if your iMac has a Airport slot since some older models don't support them.

Re:There are adapters for the iMacs to use Apple's airport cards.

Some USB adapters will work. Search sourceforge or slashdot for links to the drivers. They aren't apple drivers, but they should work.
