How do I get a command prompt in Windows NT 4? [hex editing] [boot disk]
Q: Ive done some hex editing the explorer.exe file and need to place the new version in my directory when Explorer is not running. How can I do? I assume that something can be done with a boot disk, but I can not find out. Thanks for any help you can offer .

Re:guy, you could start the NT Command Prompt(Start->Programs->Command Prompt) and then kill off Explorer using the NT Task Mananger. Then you can place the new version using DOS commands in the Command Prompt window.
