How do you increase the volume of MP3 ripping? (CDex) [jornada 540] [cdex]

Q: Recently arrived in ripping my CDs to MP3 format to listen to my Pocket PC ()

problem the trips are not too loud. Even if the volume is maxed out are not hard enough (headphones)

I know the signal is not sufficiently strengthened, but is there a way to restore the volume of MP3 ripping?

I are using the pretty much at défaut institution.

Thanks

Re:MP3Gain works great. I was able to increase the volume and equalize all the volumes of my MP3's easily.

the default db of my recordings where 89db,( , also EAC+LAME) I was able to equalize and increase them to 100db without having any problems.

I tried 105db but the sound became distorted.

Thanks again

Re:normalize, iirc, takes the top peak of a song and brings it down to the average (normal level). Im not entirely sure, i don't use it.

MP3Gain lets you raise the decibels of the whole song and not just the loudest point. It will raise the volume without introducing clipping.

I think 's normalizing feature will only make the mp3 quieter.

You can set it to do both. There is a checkbox that allows you to make mp3's quieter or louder depending on the source data, so it kinda evens out all your music so one isn't too much louder or softer than another.

Re:Normalizing the mp3's is what you need to do. I believe lets you do that as you rip.

Re:thanks for the tip this program is exactly what I was looking for.
