HTML authoring software for 13-year-old girl? [old girl] [notepad]
Q: My sister wants to create a Web page. What are some good programs they can try to use? I do not think they want to do it my way (Notepad), and I think all great packages (Frontpage, Dreamweaver) would be too complicated. But maybe not. Suggestions?
Re:Arachnophilia (http://www.arachnoid.com/arachnophilia/) is a free HTML editor that is easy to use. It allows for use of tables and other stuff to make web pages look nicer too.

I believe that Geocities actually has a lot of decent templates for her to play around with. If she sets up a Yahoo Geocities account, she can probably use some wizard to design her website.
Bingo!

Re:I'm looking for resources (themes) for FP now… but most of the sites make you pay. Have a good theme site?
Re:Another vote for frontpage. I took a class on it this semester, in which the proffesor was totally clueless. Fortunately, if you've got any experience in MS Office at all, the program is a breeze to use.
Re:Frontpage should be perfectly fine. I haven't had any experience with dreamweaver so I can't really compare the two, but frontpage is extremely easy to use for making web sites.
