I want your opinion on the various file-sharing software . [kazaa audiogalaxy] [file sharing software]
Q: I want to know what you think about the following programs:
WinMX
Morpheus
KaZaa
Audiogalaxy Satellite
BearShare
LimeWire
iMesh
I currently WinMX and Morpheus for my audio for my videos (because I can not seem to find all MP3s with bitrate 128k). What do you use for your file-sharing software?
And list of others you can use and thats really good that I could not have included.

YES! Thank you so much!! Now if only I could get the blasted thing to remain stable (always gives me messages about scripts
and slows down my system to a crawl unless I abort the scripts).
Re:Can't you use the Advanced button and search for something higher than 128k? I'm using Morpheus, WinMX and DirectConnect right now. WinMX is pretty good at searching for MP3s. You can specify what bitrate you want to search for and all that good stuff. DirectConnect is pretty good, but most servers require that you have a certain GB of files on your hard drive to share with other users. Hope this helps.

I did a search on this and couldn't find anything…can anyone PLEASE tell me how to download > 128k MP3's off of Morpheus? I hate 128k MP3's!!
Re:IMesh is the best, it does have a little Spy Ware but its easily stopped.
IMesh is the best because of the multiple downloads from different users at once. WinMX sux because people disconnect you when your half done and its hard to find the same file to resume from. Try Imesh, you'll love it.
Re:Personally, I like WinMX and XoloX best. iMesh, Audiogalaxy, and KaZaa have spyware, and Audiogalaxy's spyware is particularly nasty as it is a keylogger and it reports every keystroke. XoloX is particularly nice since it requires no logon name and it has a huge amount of music. To get XoloX, go to www.zeropaid.com (http://www.zeropaid.com), you can download it from there.
