Is this a PSU problem or mobo problem – blank screen? [athlon xp 1800] [ecs k7s5a]

Best Answer: not necessarily, but likely…there could have been a conflict between the cards
though I have no personal experience/w this (if that was the case, it would stop after they are connected) but the 500W would work til you get one sufficient for two cards as they over estimate the MPR intentionally to cover those people who overclock etc..but I would still go by the 25% rule for longer PSU life and pick one from the first three levels of the list..(whatever a power calculator says plus 25%)

so as long as you only have one in there the PSU should hold for a while, but don't push your luck…get a new one ASAP and if you have a lessor CPU than the 965
I would use it till you get the new PSU…

Re:I've a question. The site that guy gives me this sentence:

If you are our direct customers please email to your Sale Representatives for Access Code and Password.

What does it mean by "direct customers"? I bought it from newegg.com, so can I still use the manufacture RMA?

So all that I've to do is call the sale representatives, request the RMA, and upon approval, send the mobo to them?

Re:Unfortunately, I just checked my receipt – it's over 30 days already. I thought it was less than that but the numbers don't lie ;) .

Anyway, would a manufacture RMA work or possible?
