Looking for Game Recommendations [war craft iii] [age of empires ii]
Q: I have the games I played were on the point that they no longer entertaining. Any recommendations for a good game?
Recent games I:
Far Cry
Age of Empires II
Rise of Nations
Doom 3
Half Life 2
War III

Best Answer: Well, I'll start by saying that quad core processors are totally unnecessary for gaming, at this time. The ratio of performance gained over cost is ridiculously small.
All that matters is that you have nothing less than 2.4 Ghz processor, 2gb ram, and a decent graphics card.

That laptop is a great deal. If you get it in the next few days, it's over $400 dollars off.
Grab the dual core 2.4 ghz processor, and the extra GB of ram if you're going with a 64-bit OS. Take either the 512 or the 1gb ATI card. If you're feeling saucy, grab the 500gb 7200rpm harddrive.
You're good to go.

Re:I personally love the max payne series. They are short but you can continue with harder and harder levels, plus they are both very cheap (I got mp 2 for 5.90 from gogamer). Great graphics and bullet time is way fun to mess around with.

I just bought winter assault as I like DoW.
Im a big DoW fan. The single player missions are ok but not awe inspiring, main point of DoW is multiplayer though and the fan base is strong.
Winter Assault takes the faction nuguyers up to 5. Missions are rather short but challenging and will provide some fun. Adds some extra variety and remains quite well balanced although Chaos have suffered a bit.
Try the Demo and if you like it, I dont think you'll regret purchasing the game.

I like both RTS and FPS games, but am bored with the ones I have. I will give AOEIII a try.
