Me would like the temp readings in SpeedFan label [temp sensor] [motherboard]
Q: I use SpeedFan for temps to see, because it is light, easy and free. I want to be properly labeled, so I actually know what the hell Im looking. They do not look like a downloadable config for my motherboard on the SpeedFan site, Epox 9NPA + Ultra. Any other way I can what each temperature maps to explore so I can label?

Does your BIOS show any temperatures? I have SpeedFan; it shows 4 temperatures; my BIOS shows two. By correlating the BIOS temp readings with the readings in SpeedFan, I was able to determine which one in the CPU. Also, you may be able to determine which in the CPU temp by careful observation; it's the one most likely to fluctuate between idle periods and periods of heavy tasking, right?Well, my BIOS shows two fan readings and two temp readings. Speedfan shows two fan readings and SIX temp readings. And I don't think SpeedFan's temps report exactly the same as the BIOS's for the same sensors, so it's really not possible to match anything up accurately that way. I think I might know which is my CPU temp by observation, but there's also a "Core" reading and I don't know how that is different than the other apparent CPU temperature.

It's not as if your CPU will burst in flames if you disable the CPU fan temporarily. Remember, modern CPUs will throttle down when it overheats.Yeah I know, but even still, that is only one temp out of six. I was really hoping for a downloadable config somewhere, or someone else with this board that already has them labeled. This seems to be a very popular board.

Disable each fan one by one. See which temperature rises to determine what reading is what. And to rename each label, edit the speedfansens.cfg file.
Well for one, I don't really like the idea of disabling my CPU fan for any amount of time. For two, there are only two fan readings and six temperature readings, so that isn't going to help too much.
