Q: I have Hi

Ive .09 running great on my , except it does not report the CPU temperature.

Temp sensor 1 to 3 0 degrees C

any report any ideas?

thanks!

Re:yeah, asus probe is pretty inaccurate though, so i wanted to give a shot. plus, there's this thing called "coolinfo" that interfaces the to show your temps in a trasparent icon on the desktop, which is really…well…"cool" :)

Re:That really is weird. I had it working fine in 2000 with an A7V133, however haven't reinstalled it in XP yet. IIRC, there's an ASUS tool for reading out the values – ASUS Probe, I think – have you tried that?

Re:ok, this is new…i finally got case and cpu temp to show up, BUT, they show up for about 10 seconds, then cycle off for a few seconds (it doesn't show a continuous reading).

she's breathing…but still trouble….

Re:<< No idea man, reinstall? :( >>

i might just do that. thanks!

yeah, i AM running win2k and i DO remember it saying that it needed to install a special service. i let it install that, or so i thought, and then it told me to reboot to start the service. i did so, but i still don't have temperature readings. it's weird because my roomate , who has an epox 8k7a, also installed .09 , but on XP, yet he ALSO does not have temperature readings.
