Q: Okay, I have a sealed oem disk for XP Home Edition, but when I setup (using, disk setup, hit a button, wait for loading setup bluescreen, but all taxes) once in the setup, ask they half CD, CD, which I do not!

Is there a way around this?

Re:thx, i got a new cd, the cd had no SP@ on it.. they gave me a new one

Re:They make pre-Service Packed CDs with logos. If for some reason your image is bad, you'll need a replacement. If that's the case, is there anything to hurt by trying to (re)slipstream on that particular image?

I'm not sure if the hologram image show any references to . I think when we received our CD shipments, with hardware the white envelope had a sticker saying "w/ ".

Re:This is the holographic xp home cd, genuine XP cd, it should just work with this cd alone?

Re:You could try to slipstream onto the Home image. IIRC it is looking for the file on the root of the CD showing it has the SPx files on that particular image.

Re:call the OEM supplier, as they burned you a bad slipstreamed disk.
