Need a plot summary for FEAR. (Spoilers!) [older woman] [plot summary]

Q: I thought I was a great fear, but Im somewhat arbitrary, and now I can not for the life of me it all together. In the end, youre the girl the son? If so, why does she seem so bad, and the (the nude one) just an older version if your mother, and if so, why is she so angry? And the bad guy (Fettel?) Who is he? Why does he need to kill Alice Wade, what did they even have to do with anything? What was the big ball thing in the basement of the facilitiy . Im so lost: P

I think FEAR did a poor job in story presentation. Some games go too far with cutscenes, but I feel that FEAR didn't have enough. The only "immersive" part of the game was those lame paragraphs they forced you to read between "missions." "Like, Beavis, if I wanted to read, I'd go to school…huh huh..huh huh.."

I expected much more in terms of presentation and frankly was surprised when the game ended. I still thought I was on the first misson. From what I remember, it was a story about some corporation that did experiments on some girl, to breed super soldiers or some other nonsense like that. I think FEAR had a lot of potention. Great graphics, nice engine, good implementation of bullet time, but the story needed to be more than just the 1 mission.

Most of the time the loading would finish before you could read something. Annoying. And the beginning was cheesy.

Overall I give the game 9/10.

In the 70's the scientist dude had two daughters Alice and "Alma". Alma as you know had pyshic powers.

The impregnated her when she was 14 and she gave birth to the kid (you) at 15. From you they cloned Fettle.

The scientist dude was also cloned making the clone soldiers.

The one lady that the Scientist dude hated tried opening up Alma's tomb again starting the entire F.E.A.R game.

The F.E.A.R team was also created to test out your abilities.

In the end you (the player not the character you're playing) find out that the whole incident was just to test your character's ability.

Many thanks. Although, how come your mother appears to be evil and want you dead, and what's with all the supernatural stuff? Just her reaching out from the grave? The last scene on the chopper with your mother (the nude dead woman), is she coming to kill you or what? And guy, I agree completely.

The reason she's back is because she wants to take revenge on all the people who tortured her.

She wants you to join her along with Fettel, that's why she want to kill you.

The reason she shows up on your copter at the end is…because she's already dead. You can't kill something that's dead.

The sequel will probably involve something to put her to peace. Probably you dieing I guess.
