I d / l all programs, and all but one worked . but Ive heard some people say they could do with just IFOedit
I dont mind getting rid of some of the features on the burnt copy
does Does anyone know or willing to tell me how do IfoEdit for dummies?
Re:Just finished shreck with dvd2dvdr, couple things to get you all in the right direction if you are to try this program, use daemon tools to mount your ISO after you ripped it with DVD decryter (ISO MODE) this will speed things up, also make sure you get CCE 2.50, this works good with the program, just install to the default directory, I can confirm that 2.62 will not be found by DVD2DVDR not sure about 2.66, also the trial version will leave a logo on the movie but you can work around this by buying it or doing some dirty work, personally I just left the logo there because I just dont care, pulldown 3:2 (2:3 Typo in program) worked fine for me but others have said that it sometimes does not load. ALso the settings in DVD decrypter seem complicated but they are not! What I did was encode a single chapter at various settings till i got this right. I burned Image with Nero, The first two tries burning the image failed, it reported that Qeuing failed, I narrowed this doem to a problem with daemon tools having a image mouted (maybe just my crappy VIA board), I simply unmounted then all went well, good thing I was using a DVD -RW. Also make sure you have atleast double the ISO's size availible somewhere, meaning to have a total of triple the movies size of availible hd space. You can if needed only use double but that would mean you would have to use DVD2DVDR to rip and I have heard that this takes some time! Also make sure your partitions is NTFS (this is a must). I have only seem very minior alteration in this movie it definitly worked well. Last Go to that site and go in the forums and read the long long long post on this program and you will understand this more. hope I helped somehow.
P.S Remember I am only a noob at this!
Re:If you think just the movie is gonna fit if you rip the extras its fairly simple to rip the extras and menus out. Rip with dvd dycryptor using file mode selecting just the main movie vob and ifo files. Start Ifoedit and open the first vob ifo file, click vob extras and make sure "create new ifo (main movie) is selected ( I think the rest should be left the way they are). Click ok then deselect what you don't want (subs and extra language) then let it fly. If its still over 4.3 gig you have some reading to do since you have to resample.
Personally I like when its over 4.3 gig mainly because its a challenge to downgrade the video and put it all back together again. I heard good things about the dvd2dvdr but never bothered installing it yet.

I've burned about 50 DVDR's using IFOEdit and DVD Decryptor. What's your question?
