which does about nothing….
Re:If I had to upgrade, I would still probably get an Nforce2 mobo, unless this proves to be a much better performer.

Yep…. I'm still happy with my 266A! It's not worth the little extra oomph for me to swap out a perfectly running board.
Yep. But if it dribbles, spits or hacks up I'll drop it in a second. Until then it's got a good home. ![]()

I will wait for 600a
I can't believe that the perfect statement for this thread happened to be the very first post.
No more needs to be said…

My thoughts exactly.
Actually, I'll go with nForce2 if I ever decide to go back to AMD.
Go back to AMD?! *gasp* You should, we on this side of the river posses ultimate CPUs. Except for a lack of HT. ![]()
Re:Isn't the KT400 already 400mhz FSB capible?

nvidia sure has impressed everyone with their mobo's but fell behind in gpu's thanks to the move to .13
Re:We need to start demanding a ZIF socket for Via boards and retail chipsets
Matrox was rumored 2 years ago to do this with Parhelia, before Parhelia was even mentioned. I wonder what the limits are behind such an idea.

LoL, so true.
So basically Via has put out 3 chipsets that do exactly the same thing. KT333, KT400, KT400A. Ridiculous. We need to start demanding a ZIF socket for Via boards and retail chipsets, as this is getting out of control. Mobo makers can simply replace a NB and slap it in a new box to make the end-user pay the full cost of a new board for the benefit of a marginally better chipset. :disgust:
