New zip drive says disc is full, if not [copy disc] [zip drive]
Q: When I try to copy and I get this message: 977 503 u0026quot; Can not copy (filename):
The folder or file can not be made paste. u0026quot;
I copied / pasted some photos after installing the drive a few days ago so it works sometimes.
If I try a lot of pictures and paste copy, I get the message: u0026quot; can not copy the disk is full u0026quot; 0.
also when I have new hardware installed and restarted the computer I am positive that u0026quot; u0026quot, Found New Hardware box has always showed up and the wizard does its thing. This station was empty so no drivers came with her.
When the message first appeared after the initial installation, I think a full format the disk may have been damaged or something because it had been sitting in my drawer for awhile.
I was able to copy / paste not a problem. Now . nada. Help.

Re:It's a 100 guy and thanks guy. Curiously, why does the root read/perceive or whatever multiple files differently than a folder with multiple files.

There is a limit to the number of actual files you are allowed on the root of the disk…
If you place those pictures/files into at least (1) folder, then you will be able to use the entire disk…
