Q: Hi Folks:

please help. I have a Toshiba 3000-S353 laptop with Windows Vista laptop Win98SE.

my a network is connected to my server at work. The network is NT and we use for our email.

I am able to log on my network (if it asks for network login and password) which is fine.

However, when I try to set using Outlook e-mail, I put in the server name (server) and my login name in the field
and then I clicked on “check name” it crashes. the program has hangs.

i m not sure so do basic network Savy in what the solution could be.

thanks.

Best Answer: A lot depends upon your budget and how much trouble you're willing to go through.

I've recently started using dropbox.com. It syncs everything you put on it and I've researched the security. Very good. The same that Amazon uses. Free 2GB and inexpensive usage for what you might need above that. Oh. And you only pay for what you use.

Of course, you could just get an external drive and back up your hard drive every day.
