Paint Shop Pro vs. Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 [adobe photoshop elements] [photoshop elements 2]

Q: Hi everyone, Im looking for a simple easy to use program for editing / cropping. Which one is better? Anyone have exp. w / either?

Both are $ 100. I have a P4-3.3 W / 1 gig ram if that makes a diff.

When you say "simple easy to use" then I think you ought to try Paint Shop Pro.

Re:I think that Paint Shop Pro is actually more powerful and is probably easier to pick up. That said, if you want to learn how to use Photoshop (like the pros :P ), then go with PSE2.

Re:First of all don't pay $100 for either. You should be able to get each program for less than $40-$50 after
rebates or less if you are patient and look for sales. I believe I saw Elements in an add for Fry's last week for $19 or $29 after rebates.
