 I had a Toshiba, and I pulled the battery. It didn't work, of course, but when I plugged it back in, everything was fine. What do you mean?
guy,
Does it have username and password fields? Or does it just have the password field? If it's got both, try putting in a new username and password. The PC should setup a new user and let you on. If not, get a CDrom drive for it, boot into dos, format /s, and reinstall. ![]()

Suggest you go to the notebook manufacturer's web site and see if you can download a manual. That should tell you specifically how to handle the situation.
