Re:The ATA 66/100 cable has 80 pins vs the 40 pins for regular IDE cable. The extra 40 are ground wires, more like they make sure there is no noise and interference when using the higher frequency of ATA 66/100 ( better data integrity). It may even make your Ultra 33 devices run better
