Q: Go to your address field and type a name as the website or or vomiting but dont add. Com or http:// just type the site. Then instead of pressing Enter Ctrl + Enter. There you have it, IE automatically adds http://www. and. com to. Unbelievable huh?

Re:hehe nice tip, another keyboard shortcut that'll amaze people

Re:The ctrl+enter thing is such an old feature…

But guy's tip is new to me. Going to try it out. Thanks.

Re:And if you get the IE 5 power tools, you can search any of your favorite search engines directly from the toolbar:

type in:
g l33t t00184r s34rch1n9
and it automatically goes to the google results page for "l33t t00184r s34rch1n9"

y l33t t00184r s34rch1n9
goes to the results page for the same, etc.

Re:You don't even have to push ctrl+enter, just type in ''. It tries the TLD's in the most logical order.. .com, .net, .org, .edu, etc.. You can also do this w/ the DNS "Domain Suffix Search Order" in your TCP/IP properties.

Re:Damn! You guys discovered my secret 133+ trick! ;)

Re:Actually I normally just type .com etc but that will save me 4 key strokes :)

Re:That's new to me too – good post :)

<< Oh man, I was so exuberant when I discovered it! I ran around Santa Monica naked for an hour >>

Re:Another cool feature is you can start typing in one of your book marks…then it will finish it, hit enter and you go to your bookmarked site :D

Re:That's a really old feature. IE 5.0 supports it.

Re:Works for most sites in Netscape 4.76. No biggie.

Re:Something opera has had as a standard without pressing any keys for about 3 years :D

Re:knew abuit it for a while. look up IE help it's got more keyboard shortcuts.
