PowerColor 9800 SE “C3G “. G? [newegg] [hot thing]
Q: Back when this card was the hot thing to be good . Ive only recall that there are two models of the . C3L, and C3. The C3L being run on the non pro specs, and C3 being the one running on a pro-specs. Now I am seeing a C3G newegg. Here look.
C3G (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=14-131-248u0026amp; DEPA = 0)
It comes bundled with a game, yes, but in the actual map data itself, I see no difference between him and the C3. Now I wonder . you may think this model cards PowerColor R360 cores blow, to get rid of them? That would be great . an almost guaranteed 128 9800 “XT” for $ 149 shipped. Any thoughts, speculations? Anyone actually buy this card?
Re:I wasn't expecting any of the customer reviews to say anything helpful. I find that a lot of the people who write reviews on newegg are idiots. I just think it's weird that Powercolor suddenly creates a "new" model with no differences on the surface. I'm tempted to try. If I sold my current card, it would probably only take $50 cash out of my pocket to get the card, but I don't know if the difference between a "9700 pro" and a 9800 pro would be worth $50. What do you think?
*Edit*
Meh, I'm just going to get a 6800 NU. Solves that problem ![]()

I read customers' reviews on this card, and nobody mentioned an R360 core. I have a PowerColor 9800 SE "C3" softmodded successfully to Pro, and it rocks!
I thought R360 cores have different PCBs from R350, but this card has one just like mine, so it looks like it's an R350.
Sapphire is the only manufacturer that sells R360 9800SEs, right?
Actually what you are thinking of is the 9800's pcb that is on powercolor cards that are labeled "se". Its either a 128bit pcb or a 256bit. Many vendors sell the R360 core on their 9800p cards, but i dont beleive any are on the SE version cards.

Re:it's listed on powercolor's website too. Just says it's a 256 bit 9800 se…blah blah blah. They list SC3's and other ones too. Just buy one and let us know.
Re:*Bump*
No one has any information on this card?
