Q: When you download a file and do the “open with” option in . what is it? Me ask this because I want to know how to remove it.

Best Answer: Try checking the Windows files for corruption:
XP: Start>Run>sfc /scannow (note space btwn sfc and /)
Vista: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/936212
In either case, depending upon you installation, you may need the Windows disk.

In my experience, deletes the temp files after I close out of the browser completely. I've always had to redownload the files in that situation.

Doh! You're right. I closed and they were deleted.

Thanks!

Re:Yes, but the size of the Temp directory is usually small. Most of the files there get deleted frequently, but it's common for a few files to get left behind.
