Recommendations needed for an upgrade [evga geforce fx 5900se] [fx 5700]
Q: Greetings all, have
I is investigating and considering upgrading my video card for the last few weeks. I? Narrowed my selection to two cards, so any input on the best performer (or if less expensive cards) would be significantly welcomed.
EVga GeForce FX 5700 Ultra, 128MB DDRII, 128-bit, 8X $ AGP

EVga GeForce FX 5900SE, 128MB DDR 256-bit, 8X $ AGP

I will be replacing my old Elsa Gladiac 2U 64MB GeForce card. So I try the best performance ratio for the lowest possible cost under $ 190 to get. I was burned at the ATI cards after resting a few bad experiences in the past, namely the drivers.
System Specs :
2-year Gateway
P4 2.0 GHz 7200RPM Maxtor 533 FSB
512MB RDRAM
40GB HD

a proud owner….do you have Nvidia decals on your car too guy? Nvidia bed sheets? coming from a guy who would rather have a geforce2 over a 9800XT, and thinks 256 is necessary for games, i would discredit everything you say.
