SC450NX: My 4-way Xeon P3 700MHz 2MB is only running at 600MHz? [intel sc450nx] [cpu settings]
Q: just upgraded this old SC450NX Intel Server on the work of a 4-way Xeon 450 2MB p2 to 4-way P3 Xeon 700 2MB, and it only sees it as 600 MHz?
I newst have the bios and there is no CPU settings in the BIOS? Does anyone know anything about these servers?
Thanks,
Chris
Re:Don't forget to update the FRU, SDR and BIOS too.
Re:You're welcome.
Re:Woot!!
Figured it out..
Needed to update BCM firmware.. Loads now at 7×100Mhz instead of 10×60Mhz. SuperPi is now 50 sec faster lol at 1M from the cripple 10×60.

Re:TTT
Well now it apears that with four SuperPi Running at 32M it can't finish… Maybe this is a bad thing to be underclocked…
Anybody?
