Q: Hi,

Im looking for a software that other software installation can be monitored. For example, if I install some (should not do in the first place, I know:)), it will notify me what changes were made in the register if they replaced, deleted or modified files in the system, and what .

Also there are normally no software has a range of options. Where are they stored? I want to be able to track down .

I want to be able to verify the removal of a specific software truly removes all traces of themself to maintain some system reliability.

Is there software that can do this? (Free or Paid, do not matter)

Thank you.

Best Answer: While I personally don't like such tools, one is included with the wonderful free program Spybot Search and Destroy, a spyware removal program. The tool itself is called TeaTimer.

Get Spybot Search and Destroy from http://www.spybot.info

Re:This program will do it. I can't remember how much it costs, but you get like a 14 day free trial though. Install Monitor (http://www.prismmicrosys.com/installmonitor/installmonitor-index.htm)

Re:I'll check them out, thanks.

Any more apps around for me to check?

Thanks

Re:Altiris rapidinstall sorta works. You build a baseline, install the app, and build the rip. The rip has all changes made to the system (files on HDD, registry changes). Kinda ghetto though.
