Stuck in HL2, yeah I sucked . ** Spoiler Alert ** [gamefaq] [ravenholm]
Q: I know . help im stuck in HL2! wire .
I just cannot find any answers on how to get out of my problem with INM. GameFAQs doesnt exactly point and searching on the shelves does not help, maybe a bug, im not sure!
Im in Ravenholm with the dead man hanging from the loop in the street, with about 1000 head crab zombies and stuff. Slain everything I could find. Climbed a ladder to the roof and grabbed a couple of health packs and shells. What now? I cannot find anywhere to go, streets are empty. Is something should be done? A scripted event perhaps? Nothing I do will lead to anything.
Any ideas what I do wrong?

Re:Yea, you're right i missed that switch too. Thats the cool thing about this game, you really have to look around and interact with the environment with all its puzzles and whatnot. I really enjoy all the thinking that it required to progress, up until now this is my second puzzle i couldn't figure out. Anyways i hope im almost done with ravenholm, i hate dark places, too scary

I didnt see the switch at first cuz i was runnin around like a chicken without its head on!
Mangoluvr: I thought that was the door too, but its not. Look closely at my pics and you will find the solution!

Re:Yea i'm stuck there too exact same place where that dude keeps throwing headcrabs at you, i got to the top where theres a chair and beer bottles and health kits, ammo, i cross the board and get to the place with a door( the one u said has a switch inside the room) i cant open the door. It says cant open door, what the heck did i miss? also f5 takes screenshots but how do i show them to you guys, it wont paste into photoshop? I feel sad right now ~ help me
Re:Thx for the hint. Man i cant believe i had alrdy been in that room like a million tims, but just didnt see the lever/switch by the railing, I was too busy blowing stuff lol Once i pulled the switch i knew exactly what to do next.. thx again!

If this is the place I think you're at (and I think you are)…
Go into the room to the left of Pic 1 (you should be above it, it might be slightly forward of you). Throw a switch. A wire-guided platform should come up that you can jump onto not far from where you are standing in Pic 1. Then, you can continue.
I got kinda frustrated here because I flipped the switch, but couldn't find the way to get up on the platform (where a there was a chair and lots of ammo and health).
