Q: After restarting the computer does not see the system disk. Any help.

Re:Disconnect all drives, and try them one at a time, starting with the hard drive. Also, check the section in your CMOS about which IDE drives are enabled, and check the boot order.

Re:Everything checked,i believe that something wrong with hardware, but how to pimpoint what's wrong

Re:Check to see if the jumpers for all IDE devices are set correctly for Master, Slave, or Cable Select (CS). If your system supports Cable Select, and your IDE cable has two device connectors, and you have two drives plugged into that IDE channel, the device plugged in at the end is the Master, and the one plugged in the middle connector is the Slave.

Also, note that some IDE drives, especially some CDRW's, will take control of an IDE channel when plugged into the same channel as a hard drive. If you have one hard drive, one CDRW, and another CD, the best setup I have found is to set the hard drive as Master on IDE ch. 1, the CDRW as Master on IDE ch. 2, and the CD as a Slave on IDE 1. That gives you the fastest transfer from either the hard drive or the CD to the CDRW when burning data from either source.

Cable Select is great when it works because almost anything works when plugged into any IDE port. The problem is, it doesn't always work with every drive. i/expressions/rolleye.gif

Re:it's start from can't find operating system, than i realise that bios also doesn't see it.

Re:does it see any IDE devices? And is it the bios thats not seeing it or is it just the OS not loading?
