Q: Antec 300W bought 2 motherboards case from onvia.
Toasted (Asus A7V) and two processors (1GHz Athalon). And I mean smoked.
Is has a history of problems with A7V?
I tend to think I have a problem with the power voltage supply.
Any suggestions?

Just curious – I log in as Administrator, enter my password and it sits there for a minute until the music comes to Windows. Is this similar to other running XP?

Gefore 2 MX
I am running XP Beta 2 (2462) and havent really installed software on XP, it is a clean install.

tried jumper mode before Windows shut. Even at 5V and mutil 5.

Q: I have the Asus A7V Asus website that says I can 2100
Athlon to XP (go with the latest BIOS that I have). I ordered a 2100 and the
guys jerked around 2 weeks before they finally shipped and they sent a 2200.
I dont know if they thought they were doing me a favor or what.
Anyhow, everyone knows what will happen if I try using my mobo this
in? Will only get speed on 2100? Or will it even boot?
It is a retail shell so quiet when I opened, I cannot return .
Q: I have an Asus A7V u0026amp; a Duron 700.
The problem is that I can not get POST @ default speed.
When I plugged in the PS of the comp starts, then stops at a few I remove secs.
When the CPU, but the course starts, nothing happens, and it does not stop anymore.
Bad CPU or bad Mobo?

Q: Asus A7V v1.02 ok
i have a (BIOS v1002) in a Duron mobo 1ghz.
the problem is that my system just boot from floppy or HDD, because the BIOS must be updated to version 1008t o run my 1GHz. i dont have a lower clocked chip to throw in the bios flash. Is there a way I could work around this problem? (Other than buying a duron600)

Q Ive got a ASUS A7V with the latest bios (1009) and a 1.0 GHz Athlon TB processor
i relize that the highest clock multiplyer in this forum is 12.5 and Im at that point and the highest stable speed that I coach can run this board, as 105 it will not support 133 fsb because it has the kt133 chipset
the problem is that I know my cpu is much higher clock speeds and I heard that some people have had to run at 13 and 14 hours, multiplyers but got it done unless you have a 1.3 or a 1.4 GHz C
Q: Ive reinstalled, ran Norton Disk Doctor and everything is good there .
Still defragged, SCANDISK every time. Through scan setting. I cannot get the setttings to keep the scan disk when I try to manually configure, it will not go for the quick scan (at least) to restart.
The recent problem, and consistent.
I tried the Microsoft IDE 2 seconds delay in the patch that appears close to this address without joy.
