Q: I just re winxp on my dell laptop with the dell recovery cd, and downloaded SP2 and all patches from microsoft.com . Now, I note that IE will fail to load even after performing google.com bitcomet for a while. ssh works fine when I IP.

this leads me to suspect one way or another if the DNS / nslookup features on my laptop was ruined by using BitComet. This happens after minutes or hours.
