Problems securing DI-624 Wireless G Router [54g wireless] [dlink]

Q: I have a DI-624 router and while it works like a dream (a lot and fast) without any security enabled I have a problem when I click any type of WEP. The client machine (Presario laptop with Dlink 54G wireless card) will disconnect and reconnect with some degree of certainty every 3 minutes. Only problem with this is that it will say: “Windows has found a new network, you connect to, press OK and makes us each time press OK. Q: Now . are

1 my problems. Internet works fine
2. i cannot log into my router with port forwarding to tweak the like (as i type in http://192.168.0.1 and my pw), it just gives me a “page not found” error . I think I somehow toasted, but Im not sure how to get it back .

Q: I want to send files via AIM. How do I get past the firewall on the router? I know the port number used by AIM (default 5190). Thats about all I know, however. (

Q: The person I bought the wireless route (Dlink DI614 +) He could not remember the username or password Inde setup log. Is there a way I can reset the wireless router so I can log only the username admin or a way to get around . thanks
