PLEASE HELP . FIXMBR: it will lead to loss of data on a dual boot scenario? [fixmbr] [dual boot]

2011-04-05 / Operating Systems / 0 Comments

Q: I installed W2K first . then installed WinME,
I modified the Boot.ini WinME
When I also try to boot into WinME it gives me an error W2K (boot.ini is correct)

Should I boot from the CD and use W2K FIXMBR to fix this?

If, I risk losing data?

ANY help would be appreciated

Q: It is known that there is concern (but probably a workaround) in an attempt to install a dual boot Win 98 on a system with Win 2K installed. A matter of drive and partition recognition, I think. Would that do not relate to it as WinXP were installed in an empty and a separate partition (logical c) in a system that makes sense as a location for Win 2K D and Win 2k drive assignments?
