Windows Explorer uses 100% CPU [windows explorer] [folders]

Q: For the last week or so ive been having issues with Windows Explorer . when im browsing folders, just the mouse starts really like some jerky using 100% CPU or something, then it goes back to normal . when I right click on a large file and let the menu, there is only really slow . it wasnt doing this before a week ago, when I reinstalled Windows . Ive just reinstalled and it still does .

does anyone have any idea what could cause this?

they both have three subfolders are: a common, both among sp2

then SP1 and SP1 and SP2, a folder called update .

can I remove it?

Restore XP Admin Pass Repair [power outage] [folders]

Q: Well heres my problem, I recently had a power outage and it causes a fault with XP installed on my hard drive.

I can still take the disk to another PC and see all the content fine, all folders and everything is intact . the only problem is when I try to boot from it, I get an error that no OS is present.

so what I decided to first try the repair process / repair my XP system disk. well it picks up the windows at the station and isntall lsits it as an option to boot into.

Q: I had / have tons of files and folders in my E:
now, I see only about 13gb worth.
my computer still shows the drive being 70GB full.
but I can not see the remaining files/folders.

yes, I I show all the files I checked 0 .
also a program that essentially TreeSize UA tree shows the files on each partition and only shows the 13gb.
how the files disappear?
any ideas? 977 503

I have AC:, was d: and AF: and all the files it contains intact.
