What are the PCI cards which allow more IDE channels listed? [pci cards] [hard drives]

Q: A week ago, my network was hacked and my computer infected by a dozen virii. Ive cleaned it with Panda, but it was just never the same, so I moved everything to my additional hard drives, formatted c: and install win2k fresh.
Since then my system started randomly rebooting itself for no apparent reason. It happens when I? M surfing, e-mail, watch PR0? I mean homework in Word, etc. Sometimes it will be good for hours, other times it will happen in three succession.

Q: Heres my dilemma.
I have about 300 files with a weight of 700-1500 MB each on a pair of hard disks. I want them all on DVD back, but I do not want to sit and make each DVD (a few hundred DVDs) 0.
Can I just burn all the folders I select to back up and have a program just start fires and just when Let me recommend a new DVD? And just continue to work at burning more?

Q: I have an ATA-100 hard drive thats running on a primary IDE ATA-100 interface, and I would like an LS-120 is established as a slave to my hard disk on the same IDE port. Will the LS-120 drives slowly my performance?
Q: This problem is a friend of mine. One of his drives suddenly says it is not formatted and asks to do this when you click. He says hes not sure what the cause. Disk Management says there is no file system and 100% of the free. He really has data back.
What he can do?

Q: I have a warning during POST that one of my hard drives (one with Windows on it) can fail at any time. Crap. I need to get a new drive .
My question is, If I go buy a new hard drive, I could just plug it in and install Windows without much hassly if I would do something too complicated? And if so can someone explain how to go about doing? I just want Win98SE on a large partition. Please hurry . I think I hear it starts to grind in there!
Q: Okay. Yesterday I reinstalled Win2k. After doing this, one of my hard drives (27Gb in St. Joseph, 5400rpm, about two and half years old) does not come through. Windows would not recognize it as formatted, but fortunately I was able to address some of the data from recover. Now, I reformat, and it is a 8GB hard disk. That is the biggest partition will allow me to set up. Any ideas?
Q: Should I buy the new Microsoft Vista Premium OEM 32-bit OS, what is the deal to activate the OS. How about switching motherboards, hard drives, etc. in the future. How many times will the system activate? What can I change? What is not allowed by Microsoft regarding activation and use? Can someone please explain how it works? Many thanks.
Q: but I can install XP fine. I tried formatting, reformatting, formatting system.
Then I thought . Hey, if I can get XP loaded, I can just boot to the Win2k CD and I can XP installation to overwrite . Dice.
