Linksys Router @ home problem? [linksys router] [port router]

Q: Hi,

I was att @ home for the past three months with Linksys 4-port router and everything works fine until yesterday. I can not get any connection via a router to the computer that is connected to it.

I called @ home support and they told me straight away to get my router and connect your PC to the cable modem and it works fine. They told me @ home does not work through the router more than one PC, I have to go to a different IP address for each additional PC to get.

Anyone using the Linksys router with integrated Zone Alram Pro? [zone alram] [linksys router]

Q: Since the latest fimware supports the integration, Im just wondering what the benefit is and how well it works.

Q: Well I have a Linksys router . I have two computers and want to disable the firewall of the router for one of my computers . Is there a specific port triggering ports should I open . I want to make it avaible so send and receive files with programs like AIM, net meeting, games and etc. .

Q: Hi Im running a Win XP Pro P3 756 with 1 gig DDR ram on a network with 2 other computers with a cable modem behind a Linksys router. I have tried with no luck a little luck to a BF 1942 server so others can play on the internet. I tried to call Linksys but they were no help. As I had a question of IP addresses to set in place atuo IP address casue they gave me all sorts of strange things lol. Any way if someone could help Thanks

DSL loses sync Linksys router [prestige 645] [linksys router]

Q: I use a Zyxel ADSL modem and a Linksys router (BEFSR41). I have my computer and the router setup properly (as far as I know, I tell the computer to obtain IP address automatically and put my static IP info on the router) and when I connect the DSL modem (synced up when I do ) I lose sync a few seconds later and are unable to sync again unless I unplug the modem from the router and power cycle the router. Any ideas?
