DHCP on a per port switch . Help! [networking problem] [dhcp client]

Q: Hi,

I am looking for a solution to a network problem:

Like a router, where there is a DHCP server on the router,
I need a 12 or 16 or 24-port switch that is able to to grant specific pre-configured IP address each port. (Ie 192.168.0.1 DHCP protocol to port 1, port2 to 192.168.0.2, so if I put a DHCP client device on port 1 gets the 192.168.0.1 as the address, the plug the same device port2 gets 192,168. 0.2)

The switch must also be able to monitor SN

Q: Heres the deal. WoW DOES NOT the WRT54GS router, and I do not want to buy one. I bought this, in fact, and it works perfectly in all respects except for the fact that WoW is not. Nobody knows exactly why. Ideally the problem would be fixed, but I was informed by the customer service reps. I need to wait for God knows how long for a firmware update.

Simple Win98 Networking Problem in Win Me on Peer to Peer [share folders] [networking problem]

Q: Im trying to share folders between the two. I have shared folders that I wanted to be seen. Now, when I try to map drives, it does not see the computer. I am typing in the correct path as well. I enabled file and printer sharing on both pcs.Do I need to create user accounts on both PCs as well?

ODD, ODD networking problem with Yahoo IM [netgear mr814] [networking problem]

Q: Freindss Got a Netgear MR814 v2 router that I set for him, two PCs connected to the cable internet.

He claims that before we set up the router, they can always send photos via Yahoo IM with no problem.
