2011-07-31 / Hardware / 0 Comments

Q: OK, Ive already ordered from newegg, but I can still cancel. I saw some messages that said they were OK, and EVGA were good (not in stock newegg), and a few other mentioned.

So what is best bang / buck?

I can not now check (newegg is down again), but I think my only chices were albrtron (just rmaed a 6600 of them), AOpen, Asus (ran much slower and 128 megs ram), PNY, and a few others Ive never heard of. EVGA is there I think about $ 150 more after delivery.

Q: A friend of mine asked me to help him build a new computer, we both agree on a Antec 1080 (from newegg.com) for now. I wonder if anyone has had problems or favors from the Antec 1080 case for cooling? I saw recently a graph showing the Antec pretty high on the heat factor.

The Antec 1080 looks good for me (not just the outside) but for the price on newegg with a PSU – its promising. The thing about it though is that it does not support front fan, fan only ready to support. Of cour
