Q: I have been playing with Fedora Core 2 and Samba. As I play SWAT for Samba to work (I still havent!) My Machine “takes a break” after a while.

I use PuTTY to SSH into the box. After a while playing, it stops responding. The machine in the basement. I go to the basement and the machine displays:

eth0 link: link up.

eth0 link: link up.

. over and over.

Any ideas?

Q: using RedHat 7.2 and just installed. I must say to start with the RH “noathlon” switch otherwise I get a kernel panic error. The problem is that once I add = “noathlon append” to lilo.conf it wont recognize, and I still end up hitting ctrl-x and manually send noathlon. I add the changes using vi, type “lilo-v” to stick or whatever jumps back and say “duplicate line 16. There is no double line though. Everyone knows what the deal is?

Q: You can see the monitor in the sig I have now are not bad, but im thinking of introducing a few more hours over the Christmas holiday and getting some time in 2407 after it comes out (maybe just because I comes out). Is this a good buy? and the monitor I have now, says the 21 “but 24″ looks soooo huge in comparison. Also, how much do you think it will be?
