XP will not start. Neither will the Safe Mode. I do not want to reformat. [loading screen] [safe mode]

Q: I came back from a stint of three days is not my computer. I booted it up and it entered into a continuous loop restart after hitting the xp loading screen. So I immediately ran a chkdsk / f from my BartPE disk. Now the computer past the xp loading screen but then freezes on a black screen after.

Last Known Config is not good because I have been charged. Ive tried safe mode, but it always serves giveio.sys loading and flash of “Press ESC to cancel loading SPTD.sys.”

Q: I have a real POS computer from a guy requesting support. It is a K-6 350MHz with 32MB SDR running ME and a PCI vid card. I can only run in safe mode because I only LCD screen. In normal mode, the video signal drops. In safe mode I try to access the control panel and get the following:

Q: According to this guy he put a floppy in A drive, but it would not read so he tryied to get it out but it would not matter. He then our trek with pliers. Ok the problem. When he starts the computer runs scandisk, but when they reset the computer finishes and this is a loop. I have tried ENTER Winodws and last known good configuration. Same results. What is the proper way to resurrect Win98? [gateway system] [safe mode]

Q: old Gateway system with colleagues first edition of Win98 konked on weekends. She tried to use CD to recover before you call me and it went from bad to worse. Windows will now only in Safe Mode. Bootlog.txt show a normal start loading IFSHLP.SYS dies. Tried to start command only and run ScanReg / restore, but earlier versions of the register prompt appears hosed, too. What to do to the installed programs and data to save?

Can not open Firefox after update issues [safe mode] [uninstalled]

Q: Help Please.

Ive removed and reinstalled, and even did it in safe mode with no luck. I even deleted everything I could find from the registry after an uninstall with no luck. Mozilla 1.7 is installed and working that I thought might get firefox to work, but not after I started this 0.

an “update” theme, I was not used until I tried to check. Selected, closed firefox, tried to reopen this topic to see, and it has not worked since.

Q: When starting Windows, I get this error message: lsass.exe: class object not found.

i tried safe mode . same problem . I tried to boot BartPE and replace lsass.exe file, same problem. System Restore does not seem to work when running from BartPE.

i did a repair install of XP, same problem.

any advice? tread Scan Now to see if the error of some HDD sort.

Undiscovered virus driving me crazy [safe mode] [adaware]

Q: My system is infected by a series of spyware and viruses yesterday. I went to go into safe mode and run a lot of scanners / spyware removal programs (including AdAware VX2 scan), and did much to remove, but some problems still occur .

For example if I type, sometimes the letter I type is moved to the area, I can not enable Windows Firewall (I had the spyware before it was removed .), Task Manager goes off by itself, same with regedit (I got copies of those of THA problem), sometim
