What is an AGP slot? New technology? What fits in it? [agp slot] [video card]

Q: Just wondering what is an AGP slot. I know the ones I saw had a video card. Can someone enlighten me?

X800 Pro give corrupted textures in HL2 [half life 2] [video card]

Q: I have this video card and immediately acting Cownipples up.

My Half Life 2 is that I corrupt textures. The thing is that at first, everything looks ok. But as the game goes along, more and more things get corrupted (Namur, walls, guns, bullets, everything)

Im think that if the game plays, the video card gets hotter, so I dont know.

Can someone help me figure out whats on wrong with this?
