Tired of McAfee VirusScan 8.5i. [mcafee virusscan 8] [5i]
Q: Hey everyone, seven
I machines I am actively VirusScan 8.5i. With the 8.5i release of the footprint is huge and the scanning time takes forever and is very intrusive. I would like to switch to NOD32, but I do before Im curious to see if any of you mind. I know there are other solutions such as Kaspersky, but Im not impressed with the speed I NOD32.

Re:Nod 32 uses less resources than Mcafee. I recommend AVG instead. there is a free version too. check www.grisoft.com
Re:Using Nod for four years now, very happy, small footprint. NOD 32 runs a whole 2 processes, what does Mcafee use about 8 or 9?

Good point and thanks for the input, but AVS doesn't have enough basic control for me.
