Took the system apart due to diet, now no video signal [card memory] [keyboard mouse]
Q: I took the computer that I built last year in August apart because I thought I would randomly off the computer. Im pretty sure that no power fault. Anyway, when I just the video card, memory, processor, motherboard, keyboard, mouse, monitor, and power switch from the case setup, I can not get a video signal. The system will start the fans on the CPU and video card spin, but no video. What is the problem? My video card used to work before I took my system apart!

Maybe the motherboard is being shorted out on the case.
You can eliminate this possibility by taking everything out of the case and setting the mb on a piece of cardboard and putting all the necessary components in it there outside the case.

(resetting CMOS, reseating the ram and checking the power connections?)
is the 12v connector attached (if you need one)?
Re:Maybe this will help you all help me troubleshoot: I tried another video card in the system and there was no video signal. So I think this means it's not the video card. What else should I check?
Re:Can you try the videocard in another system to make sure it still works?
(I'm not saying it's the videocard, no video can pretty much be any component failing at this point)
