Trillian has update on AIM connectivity problems.

Q: If you have not already heard.

Re:Trillian is very good! If all you use is AIM or one of the others…then it would be a waste. The reason I like Trillian is because it eases your system resources instead of having 2-4 IM apps running. The only problem I have had was due to AOL and how they are trying to block Trillian. However, the good folks at Trillian always come back with a patch :)

Re:I've been using Trillian for 2 or 3 weeks now and I find it a mixed blessing.

It avoids the neccessity of having multiple IMs running simultaniously but, unlike ICQ, you can only transfer one file at a time. The only way around that would be to zip multiple files into one file and send that. I'm not sure if there is a limit to the size of the file that you can send. There doesn't seem to be any maximum size in ICQ.

On average, though, I find it works relatively well.

Re:Is Trillian any good?

Re:Site must be flodded at this very moment….

This is going to be an on-going issue since this is a "cat & mouse" routine :(

The AOL community is very "closed-source."

Re:Didn't know :)
Thanks for the heads up.
