What is the difference between these links to mono price? [couplers] [seq]
Q: I have a 100ft CAT5 cable and a 50ft 5cable cat and I just need a long cable, because I have a computer, about 120 meters away from my router.
this is 5.50 (http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=105u0026cp_id=10519u0026cs_id=1051903u0026p_id=1074u0026seq=1u0026format=2)
this is 0.45 cents (http://www .monoprice.com / products / product.asp? 105u0026cp_id c_id = = = 10519u0026cs_id 1051902u0026p_id 1068u0026seq = = = 1u0026format 2)
Im pretty sure I just need the .45 cent one. What is the one for 5.50?
Re:Hmmmm, and what would the differnce between Cat5 to Cat6 in such a device?
P.S. In case you wonder the difference is the molding of the plastic that state CAT6.
Network wise there is No Difference.
Re:^ what he said. More expensive one is Cat6
Re:The expensive one is cat6 while the cheap one is cat5, so the cheap one should be fine in your case.
Re:bump. any other opinions? Jack was probably right but I want to hear from others..
Re:Probably None.
Shielded Couplers are usually more expensive than None Shielded but the page that you linked to do not say anything about Shielding.
