What is the guarantee of Maxtor? A Strange symptom. [maxtor d740x] [load windows]
Q: I have a Maxtor D740X-6L (40GB) (SN # 662 219 910 131) which is very strange:
1. It is recognized by the BIOS perfectly
2. Therefore, items and go through the motherboard screen.
3. Then its definitely stops when it comes time to load Windows.
4. The same applies in Safe Mode.
5. Same problem occurs when you try to boot with WinXP CD. It boots with no prob until it gets to the part where the HD activity is required, then halts.
I already tried using a new IDE cable, eliminating Slave / Master mode, a separate reference to the drive in an IDE channel etc. 0.
